Trainings and Workshops

For many, digital literacy—basic computer and internet skills—is learned informally through years of use. However, individuals who have fallen behind in digital learning often require structured support to build confidence and competence.

Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance’s Essential Skills — Digital Literacy Training Program, sponsored by the PA Department of Labor & Industry, bridges this gap in partnership with the Wayne Library Alliance, The Stourbridge Project Business Incubator, and the local CareerLink® Affiliate Office in Wayne County.

Over the past year, 275 residents of Wayne and Pike counties have completed digital literacy courses, ranging from beginner-level classes to advanced training. Participants have gained the skills needed to navigate technology confidently and effectively.

Training Locations and Offerings: Training programs are hosted at the Hamlin, Honesdale, and Newfoundland libraries, as well as The Stourbridge Project.
