REENTRY AND RECOVERY TO WORK INITIATIVE
Empowering Second-Chance Employment for a Stronger Workforce
Why Second-Chance Employment Matters
Second-chance employment offers individuals with criminal records or those in recovery the opportunity to build a better future. This practice isn’t just about giving people a second chance—it’s a win for employers, employees, and society as a whole.
Studies show that 66% of employees would be proud to work for an organization that provides training, mentorship, and fair job opportunities to people in need of a second chance. Companies that embrace this inclusive approach often see a boost in employee loyalty and engagement, resulting in lower turnover and higher-quality work. When employers invest in second-chance employees, they’re not just enhancing their workforce—they’re contributing to a stronger, more resilient community.
At Workforce Alliance, we are dedicated to connecting individuals in reentry and recovery with valuable employment resources and opportunities. Over the years, we’ve helped hundreds of participants secure positions in high-demand occupations.

Clean Up Your Criminal Record — Open New Doors
We’re excited to offer an important service to help individuals clean up their criminal records and unlock new opportunities for jobs, housing, loans, and more.
In partnership with Attorney Tobey Oxholm, founder of the statewide Pardon Project (www.PardonMePA.org), Workforce Alliance is offering assistance navigating the pardon process. Attorney Oxholm is an expert in this field and volunteers with us to guide you through every step of the process.
The application is straightforward—only four pages long and typically takes about two hours to complete. Best of all, nearly 2 out of 3 applicants are granted a pardon! If your past conviction was related to addiction and your clean date is 10 years or more, your chances of being pardoned rise to 9 out of 10!
Upcoming Group Clinics and Private Appointments
Starting in January 2025, Attorney Oxholm will partner with Workforce Alliance’s Pardon Coach, Cassie Miller, to offer group clinics and one-hour private appointments to help guide you through the pardon process.
Spaces are limited, so don’t wait! If you’re interested in scheduling an appointment, contact Cassie Miller at:
