Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance is a PA CareerLink® Affiliate and an affiliate of the Pennsylvania Academic, Career and Technical Training (PACTT) Alliance.
We help the youth of Wayne and Pike Counties improve their chances of having a successful educational experience by helping them to:
• Develop study and learning skills, along with basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Catch up and in many cases advance in school to the highest possible level of academic achievement.
• Develop important workforce skills such as communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and teamwork.
• Help older youth improve their chances of being economically self-sufficient after high school
• Develop competencies that will enable youth to become responsible and productive members of their community.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
• Individuals not attending school, aged 16–24, with one or more barriers to employment
• Individuals who are attending school, aged 14–21, who meet low income criteria and has one or more barriers to employment
PROGRAMS OFFERED:
• Our Career Academy provides career readiness workshops, mentorships, paid work experiences and more. We connect young adults with employers who provide meaningful, real world experiences.
• Job Coaching and Career Counseling guides participants through thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
• Training Subsidies are available to eligible individuals to provide skills training that leads to certification in high demand, high growth and high wage jobs.

Preparing Tomorrow’s Drivers
At Wayne Pike Workforce Alliance, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation with the skills they need for life and work. Our Youth Services program includes essential training like Virtual Driving Essentials, an interactive learning experience that helps teens develop critical skills for safe driving.
Through immersive lessons that cover everything from hazard detection and distracted driving to managing adverse weather conditions, students can practice in a safe, simulated environment. This is just one of the many ways we support local youth, helping them become confident, responsible individuals.
