About the CRS Training Series
This 10-day training program is funded by PaPSC’s ARC POWER initiative Project POWER, in collaboration with Wayne-Pike Workforce Alliance. Participants will receive high-quality training at no cost, including coverage of the $150 testing/PCB application fee.
📅 Training Dates: Thursdays & Fridays from April 3 – May 2, 2025
📍 Location: The Stourbridge Project, 646 Park St., Second Floor, Honesdale, PA 18431
💰 Cost: FREE (Including exam and application fees)
What to Expect in the CRS Training Series
Participants will engage in 78 hours of training, covering:
✅ The Role of a Recovery Specialist
✅ Motivational Interviewing & Communication Skills
✅ Ethical Responsibilities & Professionalism
✅ Understanding Substance Use & Recovery Planning
✅ Cultural Competency, Advocacy, and Self-Care
Classes run 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM each day, providing an immersive learning experience.
